These rough-sawn Northern White Cedar posts, also known as Eastern White Cedar, are sourced from Canada. Their light color and natural wood character suit porch posts, decorative timbers, and other projects. Northern White Cedar heartwood offers natural decay resistance, though durability varies with heartwood content, exposure, and installation.

Northern White Cedar is a different species from Atlantic White Cedar. For load-bearing posts, beams, or girders, confirm the required dimensions, grade, and structural suitability with your builder or engineer.
