Since 1983, we've been milling log homes under the Gable Log Homes name, helping families across the region build the rustic retreats they've always dreamed of. For over forty years, we've specialized in precision-cut log packages using premium cypress and cedar—creating authentic log homes that stand the test of time.

But the lumber market has changed dramatically. Cypress and cedar prices have skyrocketed in recent years, pushing traditional precut log packages out of reach for many families who want that rustic aesthetic. We saw our longtime customers priced out of their dream homes, and we knew something had to change. That's why we launched Southern Cypress WoodWorks.

We're still the same family-run mill with the same commitment to quality - we've just adapted to serve you better. Instead of fighting impossible lumber prices, we've embraced the evolution happening in rural construction.
